SPECIMEN GROUP RULES DENHAM LAKE PIT 3 2022/23 START OF SEASON JUNE 1st 2022 FINISH MARCH 30TH 2023 PLEASE KEEP THESE RULES WITH YOU WHEN VISITING THE LAKE. BE AWARE OF BOOKING PROCEDURES, SEE RULE 15. Only 3 RODS with 1 hook to be used , unless dead baiting when 2 can be used. On Denham Lake no boats including bait boats of any kind or drones of any kind are allowed, No nut baits but nut boilies are allowed, No Braided main line, landing nets must be no less than 42 inches, your main line must be no less than 15lb breaking strain. You must have an unhooking mat, min size,3ft x 3ft and 2 inches thick when fishing for Tench, Carp, Bream or Pike. Use only a recovery sling and for a maximum of 30 mins for photos. Any angler reporting catches to the Angling Press or on Social Media Outlets should not be specific about the location of the fishery, State G/X Controlled fishery, and do not show fishery in the background in photos. There must be no litter left after your session has finished, no working on swims or cutting back vegetation without Bailiffs permission, no swimming or wading, no disposable B.B.Qs or fires. Fishing to be carried out in good sportsman like manner with due consideration to fellow anglers and wildlife. Car Park permits must be displayed at all times , you must have a specimen group permit to park overnight on Denham Lake. No guests allowed on to Denham Lake, you may take a member of your family, so long as they are a member of the club, under no circumstances give your key or gate number to another person or let anyone drive through the gate to visit you, Breaching this rule may result in suspension from the club. You must strictly adhere to the speed limit of 10 miles per hour on the road to and from the lake, if this is broken you will be asked to leave and only be allowed to return after discussion on Committee. Pre Baiting is prohibited and no stalking of Carp, YOU MUST FISH FROM A DESIGNATED SWIM AND HAVE ALL TACKLE WITH YOU, No live baiting, only sea dead baits can be used for Pike. Club I.D. and Specimen Group Membership must be carried at all times and produced if a fellow member or Bailiff ask to see them. No fixed leads, all leads must break free if a fish cuts you off, no maggot clips, No rods to be left unattended with lines in the water, You must only leave your tackle and Bivvie on the bank for 1 hour unattended, AT YOUR OWN RISK. BOOKING NUMBER IS 07751 270943 TEXT ONLY Any Member fishing another swim from a different swim will be breaking rule 8 the only exceptions without moving all tackle are right of the Island and the Royal Box, this is to fish the Channel but you must not fish between the red marked poles, ask other members or Bailiffs for guidance. All fishing must be done from designated swims, no fishing on the Causeway, the Bailiffs may shut down any swim when needed, you must not fish these until fully opened. The Ramp has priority over pegs 14 and the pallet swim, to fish these swims you must ask the member who arrived first in these if it is ok to fish the other swims.
